To continue August's interviews we have the twisted owners of Twisted Traxx, The Space Sentinelz.
After thier first release Hocus Pocus on Shock Records, The Sentinelz have gone on to create not one, but three Hard House & NRG vinyl labels. Thier labels include Twisted Traxx, Twisted Filth and Filth Traxx, not to mention Twisted Digital on Trackitdown.net
All the labels have gone on to release some fierce tunes, with thier latest release Twisted Traxx 21, Sebby Bozak & Destructo - Nato (Kam & Sentz RMX) & Adz & Fearnie - Punk, reaching # 1 on the NRG charts of BangingTunes.com, as well getting a great review in DJMag by Simon Eve.
The Beat Ranch would like to welcome its newest resident djs The Space Sentinelz

Thanks guys for taking the time out to do this interview & mix. You have been on the site before as guests, and now you are our newest residents. Welcome aboard
No probs, nice one!
You have been around for 7 years now, tell us the story behind The Space Sentinelz, how did your name come about?
Well Ive been djing(Scott)over 10 years and Kirt just a little under. I used to (and still do) play hardcore and had been goin in the studio from the mid 90s, making tracks for me to play out. One was even signed to Triffik Tunes(no7)Acid Groove/ DJ Skinner.
Towards the late 90s I got more into hard house and got to know Kirt through living in the same area, and clubbing and he asked about coming into the studio with us. The first track we came up with was Hocus Pocus which we sent to Shock Records and low and behold they wanted to sign it, but we needed a collective name instead of all our dj names(3 of us did the track u see). So as we were residents of Clubspace and I had been a fan of the cartoon The Space Sentinelz we decided on this for the collective name.
In 7 years you have started up 3 labels, Twisted Traxx, Twisted Filth and Filth Traxx, can you give us a run down of what each label is about and what we can expect from them in the rest of 2007,?
Twisted Traxx was originally just for our own stuff, you would call it bounce now, around release 9 it started to tuff up, and now its hard as u like. We have just released TwistedTraxx21 - Adz & Fearnie - Punk & Sebby Bozak & Destructo - Nato (Kam & Sentz RMX), For upcoming TwistedTraxx22, we have The Final Line by Nox and one by us that isnt even started yet (betta get our freak on).
Twisted Filth(run with Rikrom)is for more chunky hardhouse, its up to release 7 Rikrom & Jon BW - Taurine & Groove Diggin, next release is another Rikrom& Jon BW tune called Cause Confusion/Brass Disc(Mr Clarke RMX)(Rikrom mainly runs this label so shoot me if im wrong)
Filth Traxx is for international artists so far we have had releases from Yugoslavia, Australia, Russia & Japan. Our next release we have cheated a bit as we have one track on the release and we are from Yorkshire. Filth Traxx 4 is Body Rock/Short Sleeper - Fuk u Man/Sentinelz & Rikrom
With more labels going to digital, what are your thoughts on vinyl, is it going to last for a while, or die out in the next few years?
Vinyl will always be around whether or not people in the hardhouse scene are pressing in years to come,we dont know-HARDHOUSE WILL NEVER DIE isnt that the saying?

Do you play both CD and vinyl?
Both one after the other.
What has been your most memorable djing moment?
First gig, many over the years, some great memorys in OZ, recently Bezek(NZ awesome)Headcharge(solid)Spin in London(always a good time).
What about your funniest? Any strange requests?
I was playing gabber in a pub on a friday night, yes same night, was told to "turn this shit off"(thats your opinion not mine was my reply)
You have played all over the UK and even toured Australia & New Zealand, is there any places you havent played that you would like to?
Canadians would embrace us and if any other promoters outside the UK would like us to play for them, we are cheap and cheerful(business class will do).

As far as production, what are some of the programs and plug-ins that you use?
Guitar Legends and Music 2000.
Do you do all your own production, or do you use an engineer?
use engineers Tom Acetate(Autobots Legend)Kam-Pain(Master)& Jon BW(Genius).
Is there any producers that you would love to work with?
I think we are happy with the guys we use,but never say never.
What producers are really doing it for you? Who do you think will be the next big thing?
Kam-Pain, Grady G, FT-G, Short Sleeper, Jon BW, Rikrom, Dan Dyson, Distorted Robocops, Karl Davis, Frank Farrel and many more. Anyone who makes it hard basically.
You have a live radio show on New Tech Pirates, when can people see you play out next?
