Name: Adam NRG Genre: Hard House/NRG Influences: Marc Johnson, Frank Farrel, Dave Owens, Paul Glazby, Riggsy, Grady G , Tom Urwin, Dom Sweeton, Justin Bourne, Mik Cree, Tom Parr Favourite Label(s): Vicious Circle, Flashpoint, Nosebleed, Oktane, Kaktai, Spinball Background: Even as a child Adam always loved music and was the only kid at the age of 6 at school with a walkman with him at all times. He got my first pair of decks on his 14th birthday. Was a pair of Citronic PD1 Direct Drives and a Citronic MSX1 Mixer). After learning the ropes on these pretty average decks, he a pair of Technics SL1210’s the next year at Xmas and started taking it pretty seriously. Although recently sold them and gone all digital with 2 CDJ1000’s and an Ecler Nuo5 Mixer. Adam started mixing Trance at first, then moved onto Hard Trance, then Hard House and now mainly Hard NRG. Basically taking it harder and harder. On the production front he started producing a couple of years ago when he went on his first college course. He did a BND in music technology and passed with flying colours. Adam learnt the ropes using Reason back then. After some time with Reason he decided to knock it on the head as he found it to limiting, and moved onto FL studio. He only really been taking things more seriously over the last year and Energy Bomb was he’s first ever finished NRG track. Adam has been working a lot more towards making more tracks and been taking the production side of things more seriously. Future Plans:Get more gigs out as not had many, more production and more signings and move out and get some bloody monitor speakers! Monthly Chart
